If that’s what’s been stopping you, then this fitness class is perfect for you because it’s a fitness class designed for everyone, at ANY level of fitness.
Whether you want to try CrossFit for the first time, just get your sweat on with friends, or want to add a fitness class to your existing workout routine, Sheepdog Fitness is a great way to do it.
This all levels fitness class allows individuals, just like you, to experience what CrossFit is all about and why our members say that the Sheepdog Fitness Community in Port Coquitlam is amazing.
We recognize that not everyone wants to go to the CrossFit Games, or lift super heavy weights, but we also know that the fitness foundations of CrossFit can be for everyone. If you have a goal, Sheepdog has a class for you!
How do we do this?
Sheepdog incorporates circuit training, partnering, Chipper/HIIT (high intensity interval training), AMRAP (as many reps/rounds as possible/EMOM (every minute on the minute), and Tabata style workouts into our fitness classes. If you don’t know what these training styles are its ok, our certified coaching staff will help you every step of the way.
Sheepdog Fitness will allow you to learn new movements and exercises while you progress at your own pace. By letting your body be your guide, you’ll get fit while effectively target your whole body; toning and strengthening your muscles, building levels of general fitness, improving your cardiovascular system, and raising levels of endurance. After a very short time you’ll definitely see and feel the results of your hard work.
Each class starts with a 5 minute dynamic warm-up to ensure your body is ready for a safe and thorough sweat.
There are no set weight levels for these fitness classes. You get to choose what’s right for you. Each class is programmed to last about 30-35 minutes, which is by design, so that everyone can participate. With that said, if you want to push yourself, then by all means, please do!
Each fitness class will ideally finish with a 5 min cool-down period and stretch led by the coach.

This fitness class is a great place to come with your significant other or friends. You’ll never be alone; there’s always someone new and other people in class to make it interesting.
